Description
The Mobil Network Probe series are 2G/3G/4G PS Domain Monitoring probes which perform network metadata extraction, Deep Packet Inspection (DPI), flow monitoring, and generation of proprietary UDP XDRs. For long backhaul applications, a UDP to TCP converter is available.
The Mobil probe series support up to 40 Gbit connections in the monitoring ports, and up to 60Gbps for DPI.

Typical Application
This is an example of a Big Data approach for use of the Cubro Mobil probes. The probe delivers the XDR’s via UDP stream to Apache Kafka instances. The Cubro Kafka extension makes it possible for Kafka to handle the XDR’s and enrich, modify and convert the data into the requested format, depending upon the customer’s needs and the BI system in use. Cubro also offers a basic BI system based on Mongo DB. The internal system can also scale up to a large scale, but it is a closed system.
